Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 anchovy fillets, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.

  3. Add chopped anchovies and red pepper flakes to the pan and cook until anchovies have melted.

  4. Drain spaghetti and add to the pan, tossing to coat with the anchovy mixture.

  5. Add lemon zest, salt, and pepper to taste. Toss again to combine.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
