How To Make Pumpkin Butter
This pumpkin butter is a great way to have the flavors of pumpkin pie on a spread. You only need a few ingredients to make this from scratch.

- 3½cupspumpkin puree,homemade, not pumpkin pie filling
- 1cuppacked brown sugar
- ¾cupapple cider,or juice
- 2tspvanilla extract
- 3cinnamon sticks
- 2tsppumpkin pie spice,to taste
Instructions

Combine pureed pumpkin, vanilla, apple juice, spices, cinnamon sticks and sugar in a large saucepan; stir well.

Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes or until thickened. Stir frequently.
