These Red Cinnamon Apple Rings is full of sweet and spiced cinammon flavor that are perfect to pair with pork and other meat dishes. Let it sit in the syrup overnight to get the best flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into ½-inch thick rings
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • cup Red Hots cinnamon candies

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients except the apples in a skillet to make a syrup.

  2. Cook apple rings in a covered skillet in syrup until tender.

  3. Serve and enjoy with accompaniments.
