Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, rolled oats, honey/maple syrup, melted coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until crumbly.

  3. Place the sliced apples in a baking dish and sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly on top.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  6. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
