How To Make Creepy Cupcakes

Turn your sweet dessert into a spooky treat with this cupcakes recipe. The chocolate cupcake is frosted and decorated to match the Halloween spirit.

Ingredients

For Cupcake:

  • 1boxchocolate cake mix
  • 3large eggs
  • ½cupbutter,melted
  • 1cupwater

For Frosting:

  • 6tbspbutter,softened
  • 2⅔cupspowdered sugar
  • ½cupcocoa
  • cupmilk
  • 2tspvanilla
  • Oreos,crushed
  • sprinkles grass
  • skeleton Plastic hands

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, water and melted butter. Beat on low speed for 1 minute and then on high for another minute.

  3. Fill cupcake liners ⅔ full and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.

  4. Let cool before frosting.

  5. For frosting, place butter in a bowl and beat until creamy.

  6. Add sugar and cocoa and mix well.

  7. Add milk and vanilla and mix until well combined. Pipe onto cool cupcakes.

  8. Sprinkle on crushed Oreos and grass sprinkles and top off with plastic skeleton hand reaching up.
