Copycat Dr. Pepper Chocolate Pecan Cookies Recipe

Not only is it a great substitute ingredient, but it can also create a fine batter that’s ready to be baked in the oven. This recipe of ours mixed chocolate chips and pecans to give this special Dr. Pepper cookie a nice textured crunch.


A chewy and textured cookie to sweeten up your day. It's mixed with some Dr. Pepper soda and combines chocolate chips and toasted pecans.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup margarine
  • cup brown sugar
  • tsp. salt
  • ¼ cup Dr. Pepper
  • 2 ¼ cups cake flour
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Cream margarine; add sugar and beat until fluffy.
  3. Add flour and salt alternately with Dr. Pepper.
  4. Add vanilla extract, pecans and chocolate chips.
  5. Shape into balls, bars or crescents.
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven.
  9. Roll in confectioners' sugar.
