
How To Make Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 24ozfresh blackberries
- 1cupgranulated sugar
- ¼tspground cinnamonoptional but recommended
- 3tbspcornstarch
- ¾cupwater
For Topping:
- 1½cupsall-purpose flour
- 1tbspgranulated sugar
- 1½tspbaking powder
- ½tspkosher salt
- ½cupcold buttergrated or finely cubed
- ½cupcold buttermilk
Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine the blackberries, sugar, and cinnamon.

Cook and stir until the mixture comes to a boil.

Combine cornstarch and water until smooth, then stir them into the fruit mixture.

Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
Topping:

In a small bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Cut in butter using a pastry blender or two forks until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in milk just until moistened.

Drop the topping by tablespoonfuls onto the hot berry mixture.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown.

Serve warm, with whipped topping or ice cream, and enjoy!
