- 4 cups black raspberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the black raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Gently toss until well coated.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your hands to cut it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Gradually add the milk to the flour mixture, stirring just until the ingredients are combined and a soft dough forms.
