Ingredients

  • 200g pancetta, finely chopped
  • 200g chorizo, finely chopped
  • 100g pitted dates, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pancetta, chorizo, dates, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

  2. Shape the mixture into bite-sized meatballs.

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.

  4. Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.

  5. Serve hot as an appetizer or as a main dish with your favorite dipping sauce.
