  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.

  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and spread it evenly.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.

  8. Allow the giant hot cookie pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
