How To Make Texas Roadhouse Steak Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 ribeye steaks, 1 inch thick
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Take the steaks out of the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking, to bring them to room temperature.

  2. Preheat the grill or a cast-iron skillet on high heat.

  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to make a rub.

  4. Rub both sides of the steaks with the prepared rub.

  5. Place the steaks on the hot grill or skillet, and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  6. Let the steaks rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
