How To Make Lone Star Baby Back Ribs Recipe
Fall-off-the-bone, Texas-style ribs slathered in a spicy barbecue sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions

Preheat oven to 300°F.

Remove the membrane from the back of each rack of ribs.

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the ribs.

Place the ribs in a roasting pan and cover tightly with foil.

Bake the ribs for 2 hours or until tender.

In a small saucepan, mix together barbecue sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

Remove the ribs from the oven and baste with the barbecue sauce.

Return the ribs to the oven uncovered and bake for 10-15 minutes longer.

Serve hot with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
