How To Make Kermit s Key Lime Pie Recipe

A tangy and creamy dessert made with fresh key lime juice, a sweet graham cracker crust, and a dollop of whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of key lime juice
  • Whipped cream, for serving
  • Lime zest, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.

  3. Press the mixture firmly onto a 9-inch pie dish.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes, until crust is golden brown.

  5. In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks and condensed milk.

  6. Add in key lime juice and whisk until smooth.

  7. Pour the mixture into the crust and bake for another 15 minutes.

  8. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  9. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and some lime zest.
