How To Make Giordano’s Margherita Pizza Recipe

Fresh, flavorful Margherita Pizza from Chicago’s famous Giordano’s pizzeria.

  • 1 pre-made pizza crust
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 medium roma tomatoes, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Brush olive oil over pizza crust.

  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over crust.

  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over sauce.

  5. Add sliced roma tomatoes and fresh basil leaves on top of cheese.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese begins to turn golden brown.

  8. Slice and serve.
