How To Make Friendly’s Big Beef Chili Recipe
Hearty beef chili filled with beans, spices and tomatoes, finished off with a dollop of sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans of kidney beans, drained
- 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese for topping
Instructions

In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add in chopped onion, green bell pepper, and garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are softened.

Stir in kidney beans, diced tomatoes with green chilies, water, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5-2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream and some shredded cheddar cheese on top.
