How To Make Gino’s Margherita Pizza Recipe

A classic Margherita pizza with a crispy crust, tangy tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 8oz fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.

  2. In a small bowl, mix tomato sauce with garlic, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper.

  3. Brush olive oil on top of the pizza dough and spread tomato sauce on top, leaving a small border around the edges.

  4. Add sliced mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.

  6. Top with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
