How To Make Giordano’s Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza Recipe

A classic Chicago-style deep dish pizza with savory sausage and spicy pepperoni in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pizza dough
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 lb. pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Roll out pizza dough and line a deep dish pizza pan with it.

  3. Spread crushed tomatoes over the dough.

  4. Layer crumbled sausage and sliced pepperoni over tomatoes.

  5. Add garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.

  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top.

  7. Drizzle olive oil over the cheese.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
