How To Make Fleming’s Steakhouse’s Lobster Mac and Cheese Recipe

Decadent mac and cheese loaded with succulent chunks of lobster and a creamy cheese sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 1 cooked lobster, meat removed and chopped
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet, melt 4 tbsp of butter over medium heat.

  4. Add flour and whisk until smooth.

  5. Gradually pour in milk, whisking constantly.

  6. Continue whisking until sauce thickens, about 7-10 minutes.

  7. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until fully melted.

  8. Fold in lobster meat and macaroni.

  9. Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.

  10. Melt remaining 2 tbsp of butter and mix with panko breadcrumbs.

  11. Sprinkle mixture over the top of the mac and cheese.

  12. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

  13. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
