How To Make Recipe Bourbon Street Shrimp Po Boy
Classic New Orleans sandwich with crispy fried shrimp and spicy mayo.

Ingredients
- 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 French bread rolls
- Lettuce and tomato for topping
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 tbsp chopped pickles
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Dip shrimp in buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Fry shrimp until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

In another bowl, mix together mayo, hot sauce, and chopped pickles to make the spicy mayo.
