Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Place mixture into a greased loaf pan, and smooth out the top.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.

  5. Spread ketchup mixture on top of the meatloaf.

  6. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until fully cooked.

  7. Let meatloaf cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
