Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
Instructions

In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and no longer pink.

Add the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper and cook until softened.

Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Bring the chili to a simmer and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Add the kidney beans and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
