  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Aunt Jemima’s Pancake Mix
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat oil to 350°F in a deep-fryer or skillet.

  2. Mix pancake mix, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl.

  3. Pour milk into a separate bowl.

  4. Coat each piece of chicken in pancake mix mixture, then dip into the milk, and coat again in the pancake mix.

  5. Fry chicken in oil until golden brown and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.

  6. Drain chicken on a paper towel lined plate and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
