How To Make Arnaud’s Crawfish Monica Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of crawfish tails
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 1/2 cup of diced celery
  • 1/2 cup of diced green bell pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp of Creole seasoning
  • 1 tsp of hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

  3. Gradually whisk in heavy cream until fully incorporated and smooth.

  4. Add crawfish tails, onion, celery, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.

  5. Season with Creole seasoning, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.

  6. Fold in cooked linguine and toss to coat with sauce.

  7. Stir in chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.
