How To Make Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill for about 5-6 minutes per side, basting with teriyaki sauce while cooking.

  3. While chicken is cooking, grill the pineapple slices for about 1-2 minutes per side.

  4. Toast the buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes.

  5. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, then top with grilled chicken.

  6. Add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast and grill until melted.

  7. Top with grilled pineapple, sliced red onion, and the top half of the bun.

  8. Serve hot.
