
How To Make Shrimp Avocado Garlic Bread
Change things up on your usual garlic bread with our flavorful recipe! It’s loaded with tender shrimp and creamy avocado for a fuller meal.
Serves:
Ingredients
- ciabatta,or sourdough bread, 1 loaf, cut into 1cm slices
- â…“cupgarlic butter
For Garlic Shrimp:
- 2tspgarlic,minced
- 1tspsweet paprika
- 2tbsplemon juice
- 1lbshrimp,no tail, peeled and deveined
- ¼cupfresh parsley,finely chopped
For Avocado Salad:
- shrimp,cooked
- 1avocado,cubed
- 1cupgrape tomatoes,or cherry, halved
- 2tbsplemon juice
- Salt,to season
Instructions

Preheat the oven to grill or broil settings on medium high heat.

Place the bread on a baking tray lightly greased with cooking oil spray or oil.

Spread a thin layer of garlic butter on each slice.

Grill or broil until golden. Remove and set aside.
Garlic Shrimp:

Combine the garlic, paprika, lemon juice and shrimp in a bowl, then mix well to combine. Add salt to taste.

Drizzle about 1 teaspoon of oil into a large frying pan or skillet.

When pan is hot, add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, until no longer opaque in colour, and cooked through.

Take off the heat, then add the parsley.

Set aside to cool slightly.
Avocado Salad:

Combine the avocado, tomato, lemon juice and salt in a bowl, mixing well to combine.

Add the shrimp, and fold through gently.

Spoon the shrimp and avocado mixture onto the toasted garlic bread.

Serve warm or slightly cooled, and enjoy!
