How To Make Kidney Bean Pasta Recipe
A deliciously filling pasta dish made with kidney beans and a flavorful tomato sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 pound fusilli pasta
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is translucent.

Add crushed tomatoes and oregano. Simmer the sauce for 5-10 minutes.

Fold in the drained and rinsed kidney beans and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the sauce. Toss the pasta until it is evenly coated with the sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
