Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 4 fresh figs, sliced
  • 4 slices prosciutto, torn into smaller pieces
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Bake for about 8-10 minutes until crispy and lightly golden.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spread a dollop of the ricotta mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.

  5. Top each crostini with some sliced figs and torn prosciutto.

  6. Drizzle the crostini with honey and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
