- ½cupnopales,(mexican cactus), diced
- 1largeripe avocado,halved and pitted
- ½lime,juiced
- 1tbspolive oil
- salt to taste
- 1plum tomato,seeded and chopped
- 1fresh jalapeno pepper,seeded, deveined, and minced, or to taste
- 4sprigsfresh cilantro,chopped
Instructions

Heat a small nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add nopales and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft. Let cool.

Mash avocado in a bowl with lime juice, olive oil, and salt. Stir in tomato, jalapeno, cilantro, and cooked nopales.
