- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
-
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and liquid smoke. Mix well.
-
Add the beef slices to the marinade, making sure each slice is coated evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

Preheat your oven to 175°F (80°C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Lightly grease the foil with cooking spray.
-
Place the marinated beef slices on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.

Bake the beef jerky in the preheated oven for 3-4 hours, or until the meat is dried and tough but still chewy. Flip the slices halfway through cooking.

Remove the beef jerky from the oven and let it cool completely. Pat off any excess oil with paper towels.
-
Store the beef jerky in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
