Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

Gradually add cold water to the dry ingredients and whisk until a smooth batter forms.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).

Dip each bacon strip into the batter, allowing excess batter to drip off.

Carefully place bacon strips in the hot oil, frying 3-4 strips at a time. Cook until golden brown and crispy, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove fried bacon from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Repeat steps 4-6 until all bacon strips are fried.
