How To Make Calamari and Avocado Salsa Recipe

A fresh and flavorful seafood dish with a creamy avocado salsa.

  • 1 pound calamari, cleaned and cut into rings
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and lime juice.

  3. Toss the calamari rings in the spice mixture until well coated.

  4. Grill the calamari for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  5. In a separate bowl, mix together diced avocado, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to make the salsa.

  6. Serve the grilled calamari with the avocado salsa on top.
