How To Make Calamari and Black Olive Tapenade Recipe
Tender calamari paired with a flavorful black olive tapenade for a deliciously savory appetizer.

Ingredients
- 1 lb calamari, cleaned and cut into rings
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup pitted black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp capers
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions

In a small bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Coat calamari rings in seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add calamari to skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove calamari from skillet and place on paper towels to remove any excess oil.

In a food processor, combine black olives, parsley, capers, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice. Pulse until smooth.

Serve calamari with black olive tapenade on the side.
