How To Make Calamari Fritters

Ingredients
- 1 lb. cleaned and chopped calamari
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Oil, for frying
Instructions

Heat oil in a medium pan or deep fryer to 375°F

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.

Add milk and egg, then mix until a batter forms. Mix in calamari pieces.

Drop spoonfuls of batter (with calamari pieces) into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oil and place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
