
How To Make Taco Bell Diablo Sauce (Copycat)
The marriage of tomato paste, dried chilies, and warm spices in this copycat Taco Bell diablo sauce brings this spicy condiment to a new level.

Ingredients
- 16oztomato paste,(1 can)
- ¾cupwater
- ½cupvinegar
- ¾cupsugar
- 2tbspaji panca paste
- 2tbspchipotle peppers in adobo
- 1tspgarlic powder
- 1tsponion powder
- 2tbspred pepper jalapeno powder,smoked
- 3tbspred pepper flakes
- 15dried chilies
Instructions

Stir the tomato paste, water, and vinegar in a large pot over medium heat. Mix in the sugar, Aji Panca paste, chipotle peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, jalapeno powder, red pepper flakes, and chilies. Let the mixture come to a boil, stirring constantly.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool completely.

Pour the sauce through a mesh sieve to rid of lumps and seeds. Pour a bit of water while straining if the sauce is too thick. Store in an air-tight container.
