Ingredients

  • 4 medium ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring peaches, water, sugar, and lemon juice to a boil over medium heat.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Remove from heat and let it cool down for 10 minutes.

  4. Pour mixture into a fine-mesh strainer over a large bowl, pressing mixture through.

  5. Serve over pancakes, waffles, or ice cream.
