Ingredients

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine raisins and water. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Drain the raisins and return them to the saucepan.

  3. Add brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and salt to the saucepan with the raisins.

  4. Stir well and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  5. Let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving with ham.
