How To Make Southern Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic, paprika, thyme, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard.

  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork tenderloins.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Sear the pork tenderloins on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  7. Remove the pork tenderloins from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  8. Slice the tenderloins and serve with your favorite side dishes.
