How To Make Pork Chops Lyonnaise

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and garlic. Cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized and golden brown.

In a separate skillet, melt the butter and add the diced potatoes. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden and crispy. Sprinkle with dried thyme and rosemary.

Return the cooked pork chops to the skillet with the caramelized onions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.

Serve the pork chops and onions alongside the crispy potatoes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
