How To Make Piri-piri pork ribs
Pork is one of the most commonly cooked meats in the world and we’ve decided to put our spin into these minimal yet tasty pork recipes that will have you looking forward to every bite.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Piri-piri sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
-
Preheat the grill or oven to 325°F (163°C).
-
In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, Piri-piri sauce, olive oil, salt, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and honey to make the marinade.
-
Place the pork ribs in a large dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure all the ribs are evenly coated.
-
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let the ribs marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.
-
If using a grill, preheat to medium heat. If using an oven, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
-
Remove the ribs from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the ribs on the grill or the wire rack in the oven.
-
Grill or bake the ribs for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and starts to pull away from the bone. Flip the ribs occasionally and baste with any remaining marinade.
-
Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the grill or oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
-
Serve the Piri-piri pork ribs hot with your favorite sides.
