- 4 sheets nori seaweed
- 1/2 pound fresh salmon, sliced into thin strips
- 1 cucumber, sliced into matchsticks
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Soy sauce, for dipping
- Wasabi, for serving
- Pickled ginger, for serving
Instructions

Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.

Lay a bamboo sushi mat on a clean surface.

Place a sheet of nori seaweed on the bamboo mat.

Wet your hands with water to prevent the rice from sticking and take a handful of sushi rice.

Spread the rice evenly on the nori seaweed, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.

Arrange slices of salmon, cucumber, and avocado in the center of the rice.

Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, applying gentle pressure.

Wet a sharp knife and slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.
