  • 8 slices of baguette
  • 1 cup fresh crab meat
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 5 minutes, until golden and crispy.

  3. In a bowl, combine the crab meat, diced tomato, basil, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

  4. Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  5. Top each slice with a spoonful of the crab mixture.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
