How To Make Oyster Mushroom and Goat Cheese Crostini

A delicious and easy appetizer with a combination of earthy oyster mushrooms and tangy goat cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 2 cups of oyster mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup of goat cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.

  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Add the chopped oyster mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Spread a heaping spoonful of goat cheese onto each crostini. Top with the sautéed mushrooms and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
