How To Make Oyster Mushroom and Gruyere Omelette

A savory omelette filled with earthy oyster mushrooms and nutty Gruyere cheese.

Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz oyster mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat eggs, salt, and pepper until mixed well.

  2. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt butter.

  3. Add oyster mushrooms and cook until tender and lightly browned.

  4. Pour eggs over the mushrooms, stirring gently until set on the bottom.

  5. Sprinkle Gruyere cheese on top of the omelette.

  6. Use a spatula to fold over the omelette in half.

  7. Cook for an additional minute until cheese is melted and omelette is golden brown.

  8. Slice and serve hot.
