How To Make Oyster Mushroom and Caramelized Onion Pizza

A delicious vegetarian pizza with sautéed oyster mushrooms and sweet caramelized onions.

Ingredients

  • 1 large pizza crust
  • 1 cup oyster mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté onions until caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.

  3. Add in oyster mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes until softened.

  4. Stir in balsamic vinegar and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.

  6. Top with caramelized onion and mushroom mixture.

  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
