How To Make Oyster Mushroom and Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe

A savory and sweet chicken dish served with flavorful oyster mushrooms in a honey mustard sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb oyster mushrooms
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.

  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. In a small bowl, mix honey and dijon mustard together and set aside.

  4. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  6. Add oyster mushrooms and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  7. Remove mushrooms from skillet and set aside.

  8. In the same skillet, add chicken breasts and sear on both sides until browned, about 5 minutes per side.

  9. Pour in honey mustard sauce and stir until chicken is coated.

  10. Add oyster mushrooms back into the skillet and transfer to preheated oven.

  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

  12. Serve hot and enjoy!
