Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated root vegetables (like carrots, turnips, or parsnips)
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast. Add the warm water and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms.

  2. Knead for 3-5 minutes, then let rest for 10 minutes.

  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and place on a baking sheet.

  4. Top with grated root vegetables, rosemary, sea salt, and black pepper.

  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 400F.

  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
