How To Make Caramelized Onion Soup Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Instructions

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the onions and cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and caramelized.

Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes more until fragrant.

Add the vegetable broth, thyme, salt, and pepper and bring to a simmer.
