Serves:
Ingredients
- 8 spring roll wrappers
- 1 cup cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Oil for frying
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, bean sprouts, and green onions.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Pour over the vegetable mixture and toss until well coated.

Take a spring roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling in the center. Roll the wrapper tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Seal the edge with a bit of water.
-
Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
-
Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat. Fry spring rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
-
Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
