
How To Make Broccoli in Cheese Sauce
This broccoli cheese sauce is a kid-friendly side dish that’s every bit as healthy as it is delicious, plus it uses fresh veggies instead of frozen ones.

Ingredients
- 6cupsbroccoli florets
- 2tbspwater
- 1cupmilk
- 1tspworcestershire sauce
- 3½tspcornstarch
- ¼tspgarlic powder
- ¼tsponion powder
- ⅛tspwhite pepper
- ⅛tspground nutmeg
- 1cupcheddar cheese,shredded
Instructions

Rinse the broccoli and place into a glass bowl covered with a wet paper towel.

Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 4 minutes until tender-crisp then remove the paper towels and place into a baking dish.

In a medium saucepan, on medium heat, whisk together the milk, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, and nutmeg.

Cook the mixture for 5 to 8 minutes until bubbly and thickened.

Add in the cheddar cheese and whisk until smooth.

Top the broccoli with the cheese sauce and serve immediately.
