How To Make Marinated Venison Steaks

  • 4 venison steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, rosemary, and black pepper.

  2. Place venison steaks in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Make sure all steaks are coated evenly.

  3. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

  4. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove steaks from marinade, letting excess drip off.

  5. Grill steaks for about 3-5 minutes per side, or until desired level of doneness is reached.

  6. Remove steaks from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
